Hola my friend!

My friends are one among the greatest blessings in my life. Here's a beautiful life lesson from one of them!

“What do you see?”  
Inquired my friend.  
A scar, red and creep,  
Cutting so deep,  
At his palm’s end!  

“Oh no! You’re hurt!”  
Exclaimed I.  
Calm and still, he replied,  
“Why focus on the gloom,  
When there’s so much bloom?”  

At first, his words made no sense,  
Until life grew quite intense,  
Teaching me to welcome and bless  
The positives—and worry less.  

Simple, wise words to note,  
Make them your life’s quote.

Look out for the positive! Don't get stuck because of a single obstacle my friend. There's so much more to look out in life. Why do you focus only on the hurt and damaged part when there's so many beautiful things right in your path! Widen your mind and stay vibrant:)

Hola my friend! 2025 started just now and it's already the last day of the first month. This month has taught me a lot and has also trained me in divine faith.  My main takeaway from January 2025 is self-confidence. At many insticts i doubt my own capabilities. But, this month has led me to muster up courage and try on new challenges. I got myself involved in various college and Church events and explored a new environment all together. In addition, I also used the platform to volunteer for various programs which has led me become a patient observer. It has paved a pathway for me to learn new things.  Despite focusing on academics alone, I trained myself with the unwavering support of God to face the new obstacles in life. Hola my friend! Today was a memorable day loaded with wonderful interactions. I went to attend a book release ceremony in Nungambakkam. The journey was splendid. Let me share a glimpse of my lovely travel. First off, by coincidence, I met my dear friend in the railway station. Following that me and my friends - Lekha and Catherine started off by Train to Nungambakkam.  The train journey was pleasant and melancholic with the tinge of raw mango and pineapple. We then headed off to Park Hotel where Sabari anna joined us. The book release ceremony started off with a delicious buffee. After filling up with delicacies, the ceremony began and the book "Hidden Agendas" authored by Ajit and Anil was released. Before the ceremony and even after it, we, the small bunch that headed off from MCC, met a varied mass of great people. There were great writers, publishers, directors and actors amidst us. Hola my friend!  Thoughts are intricate openings of the heart. And here I am, Andrea, sharing my lil thoughts to thrive! Life is filled with ups and downs right?
