Decision


Hola my friend!

"How's life?" is the first thing you ask a long-met friend. And it's irony that each answer starts with, "Somewhat.... going well". We doubt our own happiness! Today's people as a whole despite the varied gap, pronounce themselves weak not bearing the fact that life is not as gentle as a rose.

Life isn't a bed of roses, as the saying goes. There may be ups and downs, broken promises, betrayal, etc... but isn't it our duty to move on and live. Overall, it is of course a painful experience... But the whole point turns out to how you react to it. It is obvious that we hold onto a whole new courage as a result of late night thoughts, but, wake up the next dawn with the same dim grin. Why do you mourn over past traumas? Your tear isn't going to reverse time! Stand upright with a grip my friend! Shine your true-self despite the cruelty you face. Overshadow your foe with the biggest smile and lovely character of yours! Vengeance really doesn't work out. Blow off the dust and start working on your self. It's okay to cry, but remember to rise again with the unquenchable fire of yours!

Eyes red and dry,
Awake late at night,
I decide to sleep
And dream with delight.

Slow as a sloth,
Strolling in the race,
I decide to follow
My own pace.

The huge known crowd,
Laugh and dash,
I decide to quit,
To escape the smash.

Farewell my so-called pal,
Once always near,
I decide to hold back,
You aren't worth the tear!

Oh, how I long
To speak with this mind,
Rather conceal it in words,
Act cute and kind.

Woe, I continue to race,
Stumble with tease,
Gnash my teeth
Pretending peace.

Nevertheless my friend,
I am who I am,
I decide to love you
Aware you're a scam.

Rivalry is not my key
To clear the air,
I decide to live 
My own, wholly fair.

Perhaps, life continues,
A plan unchanged,
I decide to obey
Conscious I'm damaged.

This is mine dear,
Dark with care,
Where I decide 
To cry unaware.

So, my friend, decide to hold onto the right and stand strong!

Hola my friend! 2025 started just now and it's already the last day of the first month. This month has taught me a lot and has also trained me in divine faith.  My main takeaway from January 2025 is self-confidence. At many insticts i doubt my own capabilities. But, this month has led me to muster up courage and try on new challenges. I got myself involved in various college and Church events and explored a new environment all together. Hola my friend! Music is the only medicine to my soul. I've heard songs from varied genres, but there's something really special about the band that stole my heart in the first place.
