Hero
Hola my friend!
Movies are a great form of entertainment, aren't they? Today was a no-study day for me and I ended up watching the newly released film "Amaran". And I'll never regret a single second watching it -- such a wonderful masterpiece.
The movie was both heart-warming and heart-wrecking at the same time. It beautifully conveys the life story of Major Mukund Varadarajan, a hero who once studied in the same campus as me (Proud MCCian^^). One could get chills just by watching the valory portrayed by the Captain. It also showcases the long distance relationship between the Major and his wife Indhu. The intro dialogue was simply lit and touched my heart "Sea... All my emotions are mixed amidst the depths of the sea... My memories are as vast as that of it... The distance between the sea and the sky is that of me and him". Beautiful, isn't it (˘﹏˘) The film evokes patriotism, love and bravery with perfect exposition, climax and denouement. By the end, the movie got me so emotional that I couldn't get back to my senses. Such was the personal impact of the film. I consider "AMARAN" as a great form of tribute to the hero.
It's freezing outside,
"It ain't that cold!"
There are deadly gunshots,
"I can't be scared!"
You may get killed,
"I ain't running back!"
You're brave, aren't you?
"My blood gushes strong
To protect you!"
The film made me thank the nation's unheard heros once again. The happy air we breath today is only because of the unseen sacrifices, aren't they? We only know one Mukund, but are unaware of so many Mukund who have sacrificed themselves for an unknown race. Hats off to the true heros who make India what it is now. So my friend, feel proud to be an Indian and also pray for the welfare of these soldiers who fight for us even during the harshest hour. And, don't forget to watch this beautiful work!
Hope you had a good time! Adios:)
