Superior?
Hola my friend!
Today in my Church, the sermon was about the well-fare of woman. The story told by my pastor shook me so bad, as to how a girl is looked upon! Here's how the story goes...
A young boy hesitated to go to School. Weeks passed by, his mother couldn't find the reason and took him to a psychiatrist aiding to others advice. The 3-year old hesitated to speak at first, later revealing the truth. He had been scolded by his teacher which had hurt him pretty bad, thereby leading him to cry till the end of the day. The teacher upon seeing him had asked, "Why are you weeping like a girl?". This infuriated the boy and caused him to bunk School. The boy was angry only because he was called a girl! This story made me realise how gender roles are inflicted upon children at a very young age. It is saddening how a few in the society, even now, consider themselves superior... This is something that needs to be reformed!
Shades of pink and purple,
Carrying the generation to light,
But now, considered a disgust,
And a sign of foolish mind.
A beautiful dressed mannequin,
Is all they need in life!
To spend hours behind bars,
Lifeless, fostering a fake smile.
Why has the heart grown toxic?
Shattering the God-like angels,
Merciless, lion-like outside,
Yet, hide and cry.
So my friend, learn to foster the good in you! Respect everyone equally. Never disrespect a person based on their gender, race, caste, colour or whatever. Don't let the ancestral sin grow!
Hope you had a good time! Adios:)
