The clock ticks without a break

Agitating terror with every click,

Why is life a questionable maze?

Everything, a transient phase!

How once I crawled to explore,

But now wish to shut in, 

For terror waits at the front gate,

In guise like a sweet lady.

I cannot escape this fate,

Nor skip the design,

That saves me temporarily,

But then drowns me in the deep.

I strive to find the light

Despite the surrounding dead night,

For never will I accept defeat,

Rather fight back death,

Till my very last breath.
