Reminiscence
Hola my friend!
It was yet another day in carols. As we kept moving from house to house, a particular elderly man reminded me of my grandpa. And all of a sudden, i missed my grandpa very bad:( He was the perfect example of tolerance, gentleness and patience. The person I'll remember and love till my last breath. Here's a poem for him...
I lock up and cry
Knowing I can never fly,
Miles apart to your place
In the heavenly space.
Oh, how those tender eyes
Beheld a greater price,
And the gentleness
Sprung a valley inside,
Years pass by, but,
I still hold onto your smile
And your hands to grab mine.
Many may come and go by,
But indispensable you are,
And your teachings about life
Will never fade away from deep inside.
I'll run back to you
When this cruel race ends
And reach you with open arms,
When the sun and the moon mends.
Happy reading! Adios:)
