Success

Hola my friend!

Today was yet another awesome day:) We had our Department Christmas celebration. The program was a grand success.

The program started with a heart warming welcome address by our beloved HOD Dr. Franklin Daniel sir. Then, upon waiting for the arrival of the chief guest, the Heber Chapel choirsters gave an amazing number! Their voices revebrated throughtout the Anderson Hall. It was a melodious blend of varied voices. After this the dignitaries arrived and settled in their respective pews and an amazing play was put up on the stage. Following this, the Cadent Chorale, in which I too was a member, gave two Christmas numbers. Our captain is Tehillah akka... Thanks to her patience and effort, we were able to learn the beautiful choruses and perform.

The second half of the program began with the word of God. The entire hall was filled by the glory of God. The pastor shared that the only way to gain peace is to give a friend request to the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.... "What a friend we have in Jesus". Then, the cultural programs began. My juniors performed a simple yet beautiful composition of famous Christmas melodies. Following this was 2BA group dance. Everyone including me were a bit nervous backstage. But, the key to overcome the obstacle is to smile... And we did it:) Each of us entered the stage with power and energy and ended up doing a great job. I was so very satisfied by the amount of uniformity and elegance each one of us portrayed in our very own style. I will proudly say that the six of us had perfect teamwork:) I'm also grateful as to how my teammates put up with the practice sessions despite their own sickness, tiredness and busy schedule. A big round of applause to them for their dedication... Love you team - Alena, Diana, Catherine, Sherlin and Lavanya.

The program continued with the Magic of Storytelling Club Logo reveal. Hats off to Lekha's efforts and innovation. Then, there was a graceful melody by our department's scholars. Awaiting was yet another energetic dance performance and song. The entire celebration was a grand success. The program concluded with a great roar of chit chats, laughter, hugs and photoshoot. The entire department had lunch together. I felt like I was in a family function, that's how much the department means to me at this point. I'm so in love with each and every unit of my department. As the day drew to an end, I felt blessed with the amount of love, support and welfare I'm showered with.  This creates a default attitude in me, to put double the effort to work for the growth and success of my department. And that brings the end of Tefillah Christmas Celebration 2024. Merry Christmas in advance... Ho ho hoo...

Happy reading! Adios:)
