Tidy and neat!


Hola my friend!

It's Christmas Eve:) I'm really excited for tomorrow! Before I enter into the actual festive vibes, I wanted to make my room clean. And that's what I did today.

I woke up a bit late in the morning. And to my surprise everyone except me were unusually busy. Mum and dad were busy in the kitchen preparing sweets and my brother was busy playing cricket with his friends. I felt that the entire world was running behind something or the other except me.. haha. 

I was way too relaxed on my bed and as a result got scolded for being a lazy goose. After a series of scoldings my day started with impulsive vibes. I felt vibrant and happy for no reason. I lend a hand to dry the clothes in the terrace and wash up an entire sink filled with vessels. After that, it was time for me to make my room glow. I arranged my entire cupboard. It was a very slow process. I had to arrange all my accessories, order them and put them in their perfect fit. I felt calm throughout and surprisingly joyful as well.

Here's one thing I learned today... I grew up! There were times when I used to save up my rotten stuff because it held a very special memory. But today, I had the courage to let go of my precious accessories which couldn't be used anymore. It was saddening for sure, because as I said earlier each of it held a special magic to remember something. Despite of it, I did dispose some of my belongings. I could feel the resemblance between me and my mum for a second, and definitely knew that I've matured enough to bid farewell and accept certain things in life.

Hola my friend! 2025 started just now and it's already the last day of the first month. This month has taught me a lot and has also trained me in divine faith.  My main takeaway from January 2025 is self-confidence. At many insticts i doubt my own capabilities. But, this month has led me to muster up courage and try on new challenges. I got myself involved in various college and Church events and explored a new environment all together. In addition, I also used the platform to volunteer for various programs which has led me become a patient observer. Hola my friend! Today was a memorable day loaded with wonderful interactions. I went to attend a book release ceremony in Nungambakkam. The journey was splendid. Let me share a glimpse of my lovely travel. First off, by coincidence, I met my dear friend in the railway station. Following that me and my friends - Lekha and Catherine started off by Train to Nungambakkam.  The train journey was pleasant and melancholic with the tinge of raw mango and pineapple. We then headed off to Park Hotel where Sabari anna joined us. The book release ceremony started off with a delicious buffee. After filling up with delicacies, the ceremony began and the book "Hidden Agendas" authored by Ajit and Anil was released. Before the ceremony and even after it, we, the small bunch that headed off from MCC, met a varied mass of great people. There were great writers, publishers, directors and actors amidst us.
