Valentine?
Hola my friend!
Today's morning was heartfelt and amazing! The course that I study in MCC School of Continuing Education, "Effective Communication Skills in English" simply uplifted my mood.
Our lovely tutor, Paul Prasanna sir started the class by giving us inspirational quotes... Here are a few for you, pal...
"You can get anything on your table, but you have to search, gain, acquirez inherit and own knowledge and understanding".
"The fool will talk about the problem!
The wise will search for a solution!
Now, you decide if you are wise or fool!"
"Sometimes, we fail to find solution for our problems because we are unable to find the reason or the root cause. The problem lies within you or the other person. After finding the cause, follow the corrective action and the preventive action to reach the solution!"
Followed by these beautiful lessons of life, sir taught us the significance of the 11 grammar words in English. The class became lit only after this. We started talking about Valentine's day! It was absolutely fun and mind-blowing. Each one's perception of love was different. Love was defined as an expression to showcase our affection to someone. Love doens't stop with humans alone, it is present in each and every living organism of the planet be it, animals or birds. The affection that we showcase to our own inmates is also love! Later, we even shared the story behind Valentine's Day (thanks to instagram reels) which has developed over oral tradition over the years.
To delve more into fun, sir asked us the definition of kiss! The entire classroom was filled with sly laughter and blushing faces. Kiss was defined as yet another way of expressing love and affection to our loved ones. My definition was, "Kiss is an overflowing expression of love that interconnects the body and the soul". Sir appreciated me for my expressive deliverance and I was delighted upon it. Manju akka's lovely experience with a kid's unexpected kiss left my heart melting. Everyone were overjoyed by the varied perspectives about this beautiful and simple expression of love. Sir inturn quoted Shakespeare's brilliant definition, "Kiss is a token where we exchange currencies of love!". Beautiful, isn't it? And by that, we left for a small break.
Soon after the break we had a good debate session. The topic was "God's greatest mistake is the creation of woman". I spoke for the topic eventhough I was internally against it. This is because, I was able to accept the fact that woman was the main reason behind the transmission of sin. The debate was lively which made sir quote a show from NDTV called "Devil's Advocate" and point out the power of speech through a man called Karen Thappar. The power of words shook me once again. The debate later continued as an empowerment boost! Sir spoke as to how a woman mustn't limit herself, cause both men and women are equal in the sight of God and shouldn't be differentiated. With such powerful words the class ended! I had a really fun time today in class, and the main reason behind it is communication. So, my friend, your words hold power... Communicate effectively to live rightfully at ease:)
Post-class fun^^ Pic credits to Manju akka... Shekina akka told i resembled Bo Peep from Toy story! And that's me trying to recreate the character!
Happy reading! Adios:)
