Animal Farm

Hola my friend!

Today was a busy yet beautiful day. I roamed quite a lot in college (didn't bunk classes on purpose though!).

I spent one such hour in quality! All thanks to my bubbly I BA juniors. It was their 'Animal Farm's day! I happened to watch the first three chapters of the play. I was simply awestruck by the way each team each year come up with a very new interpretation.

The first team was funny and informative. The team had Napolean speak too much (Eshal wore a cooling glass hehe^^ she looked cool and did suit the character pretty well) which basically insisted how the other animals were dominated by him. My favourite character in the play was Moses. Insoll beautifully depicted the invisible character (Insoll walked in and immediately left out.. barely saw him for 5 seconds). He had a good explanation for his disappearance, which eventually spotlighted the suppression of all the other animals including Old Major who was called 'old ass pig... That is boar' by sassy Napolean.

Insoll explaining using his body, mind and soul hehe...

The second chapter was my personal favourite. The animals were transformed into stationary items say the compass, ruler, pencil, pen and set square. The animal's rebellion against Mr.Jones was portrayed by the stationary item's rebellion against the GenZ kid. A particular line by the pencil stole my heart, "She (eraser topper) was rubbed and thrown away. She was my other half. I watched her lie in the corner of the room until the sweeper swept her away". The script was top-notch and funny at the same time. Throughout the play u couldn't stop smiling and clapping my hands. The kids also made sure to sing a song to potray the rebellion. The commandments they made up was ultra funny as well... For example... All School kids are our enemies... Never sleep in a pouch... No stationary is superior than the other, both the pen and pencil are equal... Never wear any fancy items like pencil covers, eraser toppers etc... and, one stationary item shall not fight with the other. The team did a great job:) I loved the energy of Napolean and the skibidi kid aka Esther Jung, I BA class rep!

And for the third chapter... My God... I'm a fan of Giftson from I BA now! The way he beautifully narrated and took forward the entire play in a political cum funny manner was simply brilliant. The script was hilarious (for example... 'Look Napolean holds a basic hindi book') and mind-opening. Kuddos to this team as well!

On the whole, the first years did an amazing job! Thanks to them, my day kicked start with laughter:) #AnimalFarmLegacyRemains

Happy reading! Adios:)
