Caterpillar


Hola my friend!

Today was a beautiful day as usual. Here's a thought-provoking motivation I heard from my dear professor Jeyaselvi mam today:)

"Be like a caterpillar!".... You may wonder 'Huh? what?'. That was my reaction as well, pal. Before you misinterpret anything else, here's the reason. A teeny tiny caterpillar when left unbothered in a rose plant, eventually detoriates it by dawn. It doesn't sleep nor does it stop eating. Similarly, like a caterpillar we must me HUNGRY! Hungry for what - Knowledge and understanding! Only when we go in chase for new teachings and skills and be hungry to crack the code, then only can we set free from the coccon and evolve into a beautiful butterfly:) Beautiful, isn't it?

Although the motivation is not extravagant, it is simple and essential for everyone! As the saying goes, learning and attaining wisdom has no age limit! Like a caterpillar, we must be in chase for knowledge. It is not something to be attained at hand, rather a treasure that must be seeked. So, my pal, whoever you may be, remember to feed your brain cells with essential vitamins every single day:)

Hola my friend! 2025 started just now and it's already the last day of the first month. This month has taught me a lot and has also trained me in divine faith.  My main takeaway from January 2025 is self-confidence. At many insticts i doubt my own capabilities. But, this month has led me to muster up courage and try on new challenges. I got myself involved in various college and Church events and explored a new environment all together. In addition, I also used the platform to volunteer for various programs which has led me become a patient observer. Hola my friend! Today was a memorable day loaded with wonderful interactions. I went to attend a book release ceremony in Nungambakkam. The journey was splendid. Let me share a glimpse of my lovely travel. First off, by coincidence, I met my dear friend in the railway station. Following that me and my friends - Lekha and Catherine started off by Train to Nungambakkam.  The train journey was pleasant and melancholic with the tinge of raw mango and pineapple. We then headed off to Park Hotel where Sabari anna joined us. The book release ceremony started off with a delicious buffee. After filling up with delicacies, the ceremony began and the book "Hidden Agendas" authored by Ajit and Anil was released. Before the ceremony and even after it, we, the small bunch that headed off from MCC, met a varied mass of great people. There were great writers, publishers, directors and actors amidst us. Hola my friend!  Thoughts are intricate openings of the heart. And here I am, Andrea, sharing my lil thoughts to thrive! Life is filled with ups and downs right?
