Self-love
Hola my friend!
Today was a good day:) I had a fun time with my friends throughout. Despite the joy and laughter, today was motivational as well:) All thanks to David Albert sir's class!
Sir taught us Ralph Emerson's "Self-reliance". A beautiful line from it says, "To believe your own thoughts, to believe that what is true for you in your private heart is true for all men - that is genius". The line simply says that a person is brilliant if he's not a conformist. All you have to do is, believe your heart! Believe yourself when all men doubt you! Be original rather than adhering to the traditions. Learn to speak with convictions cause opinions differ, but convictions don't.
Sir also taught us about the reward of our deeds. When your actions are good, it'll be a shadow that'll follow you and reward you the same. Similarly, if you do evil, it'll also follow you like a shadow and pursue you with more and more evil. Sir then read a very sensational line, "He dismissed without notice his thought, because it is his". This is a very true line that is apt to today's society. We tend to ignore our own uniqueness and speciality! A person can grow in life only when he gets rid of this I'll thought.
"Envy is ignorance! Imitation is suicide!" This was my favourite line from the entire lecture. Such a direct call for originality, isn't it? All you have to do is, stay focused and let your true colours spread! Cause, only an ideal mind can be a devil's workshop. So, my friend, condier yourself better! Never underestimate yourself! You are a magician with a hidden charm:)
Happy reading! Adios:)
