Hola my friend!

Today, Lekhaa's dream project came to life. Magic of Storytelling : The Service Learning Program is finally on fire!

I had a really fun time with the kids today:) The program started off with a bundle of energy showcased by the kids. It was definitely not easy to settle them at first. But, by the kind help from the teachers we were able to separate them into teams.

I had a lot of fun hearing the chit-chat and gossips of the kids. It gave me an extra blow to find the kids knowing more stories than me. It was funny, because the moment I started one, they said "Ahh, we know that!" and eventually ended up narrating it. Anyways, after a lot of enthusiasm, I was able to narrate one as well.

Today's session made me learn a lot about the kids. I was able to gain insight about the diverse mind each one possesed. I could also see the impeccable bond amongst them. It was a great privilege to meet such sweet little ones today. Although they seemed notorious at first, they beared the innate respect and love for an instructor. Moreover, the creativity that sparkled from those eyes was insane. The moment I handed them a paper to draw, their sportive spirit blazed from within to portray the best. The competition was a neck and neck battle. It simply wasn't a battle to prove superiority over the others, but an intellect battle to showcase their best (#LifeLessonToNote). Once again, the kids proved to be the best life guideline. (Hence proved.. have troubles in life? Talk to a kid! They are the true living law!)

After the session got over, you wouldn't believe the love received by the us - the SLP team. It was overwhelming to know that the kids enjoyed our presence. They were happy to find out that the team would visit them the following weeks as well. This not only put us with extra happiness and enthusiasm but a greater responsibility!

As a team, we felt the burden that lay on us. Our love towards them and their bright future, enraged our souls to give our best shots for them. As we walked our way back home, we were ablazed to enrich the kids with excellent English skills by the end of the year. The team of 10 felt wholesome as we discussed the multiple ways to approach kids and improve their skills for the best! A great shoutout to my team... Fate eventually brought the best ones with the perfect focus together:) The time I spent with the kids and the team was definitely worth it, and that's how my day came to an end with delight!

We TEACH! We LEARN! And STRIVE to fly HIGH!

Happy reading! Adios:)
