Ultimate!

Hola my friend! Today morning i happened to review Solo Dance, Solo Instrumental and Stress Interview. I was amazed by the time management:) Although the events ended late, the ample number of participants were managed due to proper time management. I was happy by the way events went on smoothly! Later, my team and I went to MCC RSL for the third session of SLP. It was fun and energy draining as usual. I still can't stop feeling amazed by the kids energy! My set of students were over-hyped today and were uncontrollable. But, due to my junior Bennet's lovely guidance I was able to complete the story and teach vocabulary while he took care of the class. Teamwork always works! After SLP, I rushed to college again. I was thrilled to see all my favourite actors on stage today. I loved it when Rio anna, Vaibhav anna, Sandhanam anna (childhood crush) and Kathir anna came on stage. Hahaa... I loved all the actresses as well, sadly I don't know their name^^. Me and my fr...

Hola my friend! Today was a fun-filled day at college. I spent my entire day reviewing events and enjoying the fun-filled arena. Morning I happened to see Indian Dance and Potpourri. Although the events started late it was a grand success. Both the audience and the participants enjoyed it... This adds on to the wonderful leadership qualities of the event coordinators #HatsOffMCCians.  Through Indian Dance I was able to admire the diverse culture of India. I was amused to see the participants potray various styles through their costume and makeup. Adding on to their performance was the usage of props - be it thapu (drum) for thapattam, stick for kollattam, ankle bells (salangi) for bharatanatyam, decorated pot for karagattam, colourful handkerchiefs for oyilattam and bamboo stick for silambattam. The teams performed with absolute energy and coordination. The facial expression was in sync with the mood of the song. I was mind-blown by Loyola college and Hindustan college ...

Dragon

Image
Hola my friend! Today I happened to see "Dragon" movie with my friends. Let me tell you, the movie was simply amazing! I could say it's one among the modern films that is without a cliche.  First and foremost, let me tell you about the mental rollercoaster of "Dragon". The first half made me roll on the ground and shout my lung out for the entry of each character. I loved it when my favourite people, VJ Siddhu anna and Harshath anna came on the screen. Surprisingly, the second half was unexpected! The screenplay first made us happy, then satisfied, later astonish, think, rethink, regret, feel sorry, cry, cry even more harder, cry till our eyes pop out, smile, be content and applaud whole-heartedly. My God, the emotional rollercoaster simply proves as to how the movie is a grand success! Moreover, the social message it conveyed was apt to the current generation. It beautifully narrated the story of a topper, well-behaved boy change his entire lifestyl...

Teeth please...

Hola my friend! I've been receiving a compliment recently. I believe many envy that as well... Haha... This is because no one could understand why I keep smiling all the time! I've become a person who's know for a contagious smile^^ And I'm a hundred percent happy about that! My friend, it is essential that you create a positive ambiance around you. It not only gains you a serene mindset but also embraces the people around you. Spreading positivity and happiness is my kind of love. What's yours? Adios:)

Gym

Hola my friend! "Chess is the gym of the mind" says Blaise Pascal. This intricate game has amazed me from the very start. The amount of anticipation, surprise, assumption and spontaneity it requires is simply genius. I've learned to play chess when I was young, but neither racked my brain to make a smart move nor mastered the art. All I could say is, I'm a great spectator! And today I got the chance to spectate various chess matches happening in the Examination Gallery conducted by the Department of Mathematics. I was excited to see my friend, Kathir play it in a meticulous manner. Moreover, each match was special in it's own way. The final match was completely drenched with fierce, as the long battle rose tension in the air. At the end, my friend banged the Chess Championship. I was greatly overjoyed to see my School bestie in such a great position:) The Chess board opened my mind to the real-time battle of the society. To make it more clear, it potra...

Hola my friend! Today was an awesome day! Our Church youth went for an Inter-Church competition called "SIMCHA" organized by CSI.St John's Church, Medavakkam. The word "SIMCHA" means happiness. The overall theme was focused on 'praising God' and 'rejoicing in God' for he is 24/7 with us. Our Youth team was welcomed with a warm smile. We were also presented with yummy refreshments. As soon as the Sunday service got over, the entire Youth present in the Church had a lovely concert cum sharing session. The lovely musician, evangelist and singer (my childhood star and inspiration) behind the energetic concert was Bro.Issac Joe (#number1IssacJoeFan). Everyone present in the arena had a wonderful time with God as we heard about the never-ending happiness provided by him. Following the session, all the competitions commenced. I took part in doodle and singing. I was a bit tensed (because the entire Church depended upon me and my skills there...

Hola my friend! Today was an enlightening day. As I travelled in bus after my ECE class, I happened to see so many people. As I keenly watched the budding School children and the elderly people, I noticed a major difference between them and the adolescent youth (including me). MASK! I noticed the youngsters - draped in shawls, wearing caps, holding an umbrella and completely covered head to feet (I too was having an umbrella in hand), whereas others had their face completely unprotected - no umbrella, no cap, no shawl and 100% absorption of Vitamin C. I came to understand how youngsters take special care of their skin tone i.e complexion. This includes me too... I barely cared about my complexion as a kid, but as I grew older I started worrying about my dark chocolate complexion. It sounds funny; but originally it is a serious issue, as to how societal expectations change a person's thoughts, behaviour, self-confidence and worth. I came home and googled the psychology b...

Kids:)

Image
Hola my friend! Today was yet another beautiful day with the kids:) The Service Learning Program team marched forward for the second session today. The entire team had to rush after class to reach MCC RSL School. 8 of us travelled together in a share auto which was indeed fun and exciting! As soon as we got there, the kids were separated into teams as usual. This time, I was the mentor of Team 8. The kids who were alloted to me were super sweet and attentive. I narrated the story of the six blind men who touch and elephant and interpret various objects. The story had a very strong moral as to never judge people by their unique perspective. For with unity comes integrity, understanding and peace. Throughout the story, the kids were excited as to what was next! They learned 9 new Vocabulary words: Elephant, Blind Man, Wall, Rope, Snake, Spear, Tree, Fan and Wisdom. After a beautiful interactive story session, I progressed with the Madlibs game. I was able to teach the kids AD...

Hola my friend! I'm really tired today! I'm not able to get rid of the effects of marathon! I'm miserable at the moment and gonna sleep!  Adios:)

The Run

Hola my friend! Today I happened to run in a 3km marathon. It was super fun and tiring! I did die during the process but with the help of my friends survived! Thanks to Riya, Praveen and Sugil:) Happy reading! Adios:)

Mind-rot

Hola my friend! Today I had a really good day at college. I spent a wonderful time with my friends. From the laughs we shared together... Till the unspoken topics we opened up to, the time was spent with quality! But after I headed home. I'm stuck in a chaos, as unpredicted events start to clash. I don't know how I'll manage everything, but I guess I'll be fine with a fresh mind from a good night's sleep. Happy reading! Adios:)

The Forge

Image
Hola my friend! Today I had a really fun time in class. I was way more than awake in all the classes. And that was because of the good sleep I had during the past few days which eventually turned up my concentration level.  By noon, our Department's prayer cell "TEFILLAH" got ready to participate in the movie quiz, conducted by the Department of Statistics. The entire team was excited to watch the movie with 100% concentration and bang the prize. A beautiful Christian film called "The Forge" was screened. The story was about a teenager named Isaiah, who turns away from the world and draws more closer to God. The movie beautifully portrays Isaiah's journey to becoming a disciple of the Lord. Here are a few takeaways from the lovely film... famous quotes and the Bible verses mentioned... Galatians 5: 13,14 says "For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters, only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for self-indulgence, but through...

Hola my friend! Today was an emotional and heartfelt day! It has been a year since I became a Sunday School teacher:) Today my kids had their Diocese Annual Exam. Exceptionally, each of them performed great! What a memory and retention power God has gifted them with:) I was amazed by the way each one answered spontaneously. In a way, I was proud that I was able to deliver God's word in an effective way to them. As the oral exam drew to an end, love spread in the air. The kids graced me with their lovely hugs and kisses. I became a bit emotional by the overflowing pure love that was showered upon me. Indeed, I was overjoyed with the beautiful first batch of students God has gifted me with! The milestone has been set, and I'm ready to pilgrimage miles in this auspicious journey:) Happy reading! Adios:)

Valentine?

Hola my friend! Today's morning was heartfelt and amazing! The course that I study in MCC School of Continuing Education, "Effective Communication Skills in English" simply uplifted my mood. Our lovely tutor, Paul Prasanna sir started the class by giving us inspirational quotes... Here are a few for you, pal... "You can get anything on your table, but you have to search, gain, acquirez inherit and own knowledge and understanding". "The fool will talk about the problem! The wise will search for a solution! Now, you decide if you are wise or fool!" "Sometimes, we fail to find solution for our problems because we are unable to find the reason or the root cause. The problem lies within you or the other person. After finding the cause, follow the corrective action and the preventive action to reach the solution!" Followed by these beautiful lessons of life, sir taught us the significance of the 11 grammar words in English. The class became lit onl...

Chill:)

Image
Hola my friend! Today was pretty normal:) After a very long time, I had nothing to do and could chill in the sweet air.  The day started off with very low energy after all the excitement I had yesterday (to be frank, it's a WE). II BA ENGLISH class was absolutely exhausted after pouring their heart and soul to the Exhibition. I could see the tired eyes in each one of my class, but  the overpowering and immense amount of pleasure, satisfaction and happiness drenched their souls from within. An untold togetherness keeps sprouting and flourishing in our class day by day. Today we had a lovely jam session when the hour was free:) The class is basically turning into a huge variety family (crazy siblings from different wombs) each day and I'm absolutely overjoyed by it. In addition, I had a chill and fun time with my boys gang after a very long time. After nearly 2 weeks, today, I was able to sit down and talk with them. It was a great feeling. My mind was completely dre...

D-day

Hola my friend! It was yet another beautiful day of my life:) Whatever I wrote for 2 hours vanished in mid-air... I'm disheartened by the fact but here's a few pics 🥲 Adios:)

Satisfied:)

Image
Hola my friend! I'm really happy today. Although my day started with a lot of frustration, nausea, headache and sigh, it ended in a very happy, joyful and excited mood.  I'm 100% satisfied with how much effort my team has put forward. I have no words to explain the astonishment I felt as soon as I saw all the works muster up. I have lot of prepare and learn for tomorrow, so I'm off to bed early! It's only 9.40... see y'all in a bright new day. Happy reading! Adios:)

Chaos

Hola my friend! I'm in 100% chaos right now. I'm rushing to complete my modals and chart work for the exhibition. I don't have much to write. But remember one thing, avoid procrastination! Adios:)

Hola my friend!  Today's day started off with full josh! I was really really excited because I was about to try something I've never done before haha>.< And that was, an OPEN BOOK EXAMINATION:) Can you even believe, I studied nothing yet happily entered the exam hall! My friends were seriously confused (including me) whether the reality was real?! Despite the chaos, each of us were happy. I could say that I was the happiest in the room... And the core reason ages back to MUSIC. Phebe mam made us listen to a variety of upbeat pop songs (the only existing blissful study material) for the exam... Her playlist was brilliant enough to hype my mood. The rhythm with its common time signature 4/4 (i memorized this during exam... Flex! ^^) made me groove every second. In fact, I continued singing even during exam! This exam will forever be etched in my memory, because it's an exam for which I neither studied nor sweat blood and fear. Moreover, every s...

Inside

Image
Hola my friend! Today I isolated myself beneath the white ceiling of my house. After having too much fun cum work yesterday, I was too lazy to go outside today. All i did was wake up, freshen up, eat, do project work, eat once again, continue project work, study little and then eat again. The mundane routine of a lazy 18 year old!  But, there was something different I noticed in myself today! FOCUS... My entire focus was on commencing something or the other. Although I felt restless, I kept doing something worthy (the something will be revealed on 13th... Stay tuned). This is when I understood the power we humans possess on time! It is only the lack of focus, that drives us distant from our schedules. With complete focus, I firmly believe that man would have a bunch of hours left to rest, despite his work piled up as that of the great mountains. So, my friend, instead of lamenting over things of the past, focus on the current second and make the moment last! Happy readi...

DA²

Image
Hola my friend! Today was an amazing day! From the moment I woke up, I was mesmerized with joy and laughter. And the main reason for this impeccable pleasure are because of the components from the crazy gang DAsquare (DA²). (*clears throat) Now... Let me announce the two important components (*drum roll....) of the DA² group (*drum roll intensifies): Diana and Ann mole^^. The two beautiful souls from my class:) Diana, Ann and I are really good friends from the very first semester of college. Today, finally, after no more excuses... They visited my home:) A huge thanks to Aruna mam for giving us a group modals cum chart assignment which eventually paved the way for the plan come true! All the three of us had a fun filled time together^^ The modals that we're doing is a secret... Get ready to be drenched by the mind-wrecking modals that is going to be showcased on the 13th of this month, on the "GRAND EXHIBITION" put forth by THE DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH (AIDED). Until then......

Fake!

Image
Hola my friend! After a long time... Here's a verse from the inner soul... To the light I ride Traversing the devil blight, Too many gifts I win All coated in sugar cream. Sweat dripping like blood A soul too tired to judge, With eyes tired and dull Seeking for a peace clique, I blindly savour the sweet  Hoping to tame the retreat. Who knew I'll fall dead  To the flowery ground, When it was all fake  From the head take. Happy reading! Adios:)

Choice!

Image
Hola my friend! Today was a really feel-good and bubbly day to be frank... Because it was my buddy aka Korean chingu, Aravind's birthday:)  My morning routine was mundane with linguistics running all over my head. Anyhow, the exam turned out to be a success for the entire class:) As soon as the assessment got over, I had to rush to celebrate the day! So did everyone else from my gang... (Everyone's basically Maths and I'm the imposter in the crowd ^^). Starting from Aravind's brilliant stage play and monologue, when asked to act surprised upon seeing the cake, until the very end, the cake-cutting ceremony was fun as usual! After this we had a cute photo session, which eventually turned out to be the best part of my day! Then, each of us rushed to class and the day ran again in it's mundane manner.  Focusing on the best part... I was onec again reminded of the nonbiological family God has gifted me with in MCC. At the same time, glimpses of the forecoming...

Hola my friend! Today was a good day until the moment I got my question paper. The very moment i got my question paper for CA-1 Introduction to Shakespeare, my mind went blank! I wrote my level best with all the analysis I could think of... Like the plays Macbeth and Richard-II, my paper too ended in tragedy. I was very saddened by the thought that i couldn't write properly structured answers. I had all the sorrow buried deep within which eventually changed my entire mood and face. As I was about to head home, I saw Jennifer Sandra akka, our sweet Prayer Secretary. I blabbered everything to her eventually settling all my trouble down. My explanation and expression was quite dramatic that akka wanted to record it (I'm kinda funny when I'm serious). The sorrow I carried in my face eventually wore out as words of grief kept pouring out from my heart. I could feel the heal that happened from within. And eventually, the long chit-chat ended with a smile, this uplifti...

cHiLd?

Hola my friend! Have you ever wondered why you don't deserve the right things in the world? I have thought about it multiple times and today I did again:( Who else can make your heart bleed more than your own parents:( I feel very disheartened by the way my parents look at me. They still see me as a toddler learning to take it's first few steps. It feels wierd to hear right? You may assume, what's so wrong about being the favourite child at home? The answer is you lose your true self. You begin to look forward to others at all directions for approval. And you have no right to step out of your comfort zone! Very saddening, isn't it? The last point is my current issue! My parents are against me applying for a study abroad program. Since childhood, I've dreamed of boarding an aeroplane and studying in some super duper University which upholds great heritage and culture. I yern to travel across the globe since I love to expose myself to new cultures and people. This is ...

Good

Image
Hola my friend! Today was no special day! I had a busy morning routine with my Part-IV English CA. Moreover travelling under the scorching sun in the afternoon made me feel much more agitated. But, i had a sudden shift of mood within three hours. It was because of a movie I watched called "Kathalika Neramillai" (No time to live). It was a feel good movie and made me smile within an instant. The plot was new and the ending was completely unpredictable. Things that you thought would happen never happened, and this made the movie much more special.  Many societal stereotypes were broken in the movie, be it, gay marriage, potrayal of woman as a thin figure and the disapproval or disgust of people towards IVF treatment. The actors fit in perfectly and showcased the characters more naturally. The background music nor the cinematography was over alluring, it was natural, simple, classic and royal in it's own way. The speciality of the movie was... I couldn't take...

The Writer

Image
Hola my friend! Today was pretty much good. I had a delightful service in my Church followed by a mind-opening Youth meeting. Later in the evening when I started my preparation for Part-4 English CA, i found a poem very relatable to my situation right now. "The Writer" by Richard Wilbur, talks about a father's lovely wishes to his daughter for a successful writing career. The poem describes the harsh and uneasy path of a budding writer. The daughter (who is aspiring to be a writer) is compared to a sailor in the ship and an iridescent starling. The sailor carries a huge cargo with mighty chains over the gunwale. Meanwhile, the starling that's stuck in the room, hits the hard floor and desks to find a way out. This comparison reflected me as well in multiple ways. As the ship carries a heavy chain and as the starling humps to find it's way out, I'm also struggling and trying my best to get rid of my writer's block. My digital typewriter has stop...

Max Mode

Image
Hola my friend! February started off in full focus. I feel like my brain is on 100% concentration mode today. Thanks to my upcoming CA examination and the exciting department exhibition.  I was happy and tensed at the same time. The anxious wait for the final results added on to the trembling inner fear. That's when I remembered a beautiful verse that said "Let tomorrow worry about itself!". Yes, my friend, you may be worrying about life way too much, but it ain't necessary. All you have to do is move on with a positive attitude and 100% hardwork everyday. Your path will clear by doing so and by default you'll be rewarded with more than you expect.  My month has kicked start vibrantly, what about yours pal?  Happy reading! Adios:)
